WITHOUT DOUBT ONE OF the most enjoyable small cars on the market, BMW’s 2 Series Coupe has just become even more desirable with the addition of a third model variant, the 230i.
The 230i, which will be available for customer deliveries from next month, combines a honed chassis, responsive powertrain, progressive styling package and a high level of specification.
The new variant represents the midpoint of the 2 Series Coupé line-up, positioned between the 220i and range-topping M240i xDrive, both of which launched in Australia late last year.
The new 2 Series Coupé opens a new chapter for BMW while continuing the brand’s rich tradition of sport-focused compact models that began with the legendary BMW 02.
Components and technology sourced from the new BMW 4 Series combine with the model-specific development program to lay the foundations for outstanding performance attributes.
As well as notable gains in dynamic prowess, the new BMW 2 Series Coupé also offers a premium cabin ambience and cutting-edge innovations in the areas of operation and connectivity.
Advances made over the predecessor model are also reflected in the availability of a wider range of sophisticated driver assistance systems.
