THE i30 N HAS RECEIVED A SERIES of key updates for 2025, introducing a refreshed look, new technology and enhanced safety equipment, all of which join the celebrated powertrain and driving dynamics that made Hyundai’s first N vehicle an instant performance icon.
2025 i30 N Model Range
The 2025 i30 N adds a DCT i30 N Premium non-sunroof-variant to the range.
The range now includes the standard i30 N, plus the i30 N Premium with a sunroof option pack.
The updates begin outside, where the 2025 i30 N welcomes fresh design elements that include a new matte-grey colour scheme for its 19-inch forged wheels, a new radiator grille design and red trimming on the side skirting, the latter pairing seamlessly with the new red front bumper inserts. The Hyundai badging has changed, too, and is now matte black at the rear, while a flat-style ‘H’ takes pride of place on the meshed grille.
Inside, the addition of Hyundai’s 10.25-inch Supervision instrument cluster, which joins the existing 10.25-inch multimedia touchscreen (with integrated Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, Satellite Navigation and DAB+ radio) delivers a modern, technology-rich cabin experience, while giving the driver even clearer access to their key performance metrics, like turbo boost gauges, a g-force meter, lap timer, and digital speedometer.
The updated seat design for the suede-leather-and-Alcantara N bucket seats, and a new gloss-black finish around the gear shift, further lift the interior ambience and comfort.
Connectivity has also been improved, with the addition of three USB-C charge points, one in the front and two for the backseat passengers, while rain-sensing wipers and an Electrochromic Mirror are both now standard features.
Exhilarating performance remains at the heart of the 2025 i30 N, and a new interior feature puts it at the driver’s fingertips. A new addition to the steering wheel is a red NGS (N Grin Shift) button, a design feature adopted from the i30 Sedan N and IONIQ 5 N.
Cheekily named for the grin it puts on a driver’s face, the NGS button unleashes the maximum power and torque, an unbridled exhaust note, and the most aggressive gear upshifts, for 20-seconds spells.
The 2025 i30 N also introduces enhancements to its active safety systems, with updated Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist (FCA), which uses front radar sensors and a windshield-mounted camera to scan for cars, pedestrians and now cyclists.
Intelligent Speed Limit Assist, Rear Occupant Alert, Driver Attention Warning and Multi-Collision Braking also appear as standard features, further enhancing the i30 N’s safety offering.
The technology updates continue with the introduction of Hyundai Bluelink connected car services and Over The Air (OTA) software update capability to the 2025 i30 N.
Key Bluelink features include:
- Automatic Collision Notification (ACN)
- Emergency Call (SOS) function
- Connected Routing – live traffic updates
- Alert services including geo-fencing, valet, speed & time alerts
- Remote control of climate and vehicle functions
- Navigation send to car
- Voice recognition for POI lookup, vehicle controls
- Vehicle settings management
While much is new for the 2025 i30 N, its core performance ingredients remain unchanged, including its potent 2.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine (206kW at 6,000rpm and 392Nm across a wide 2100 to 4700rpm range), the choice between a six-speed manual transmission or the sweet-shifting eight-speed dual-clutch automatic, its thunderous sports exhaust and its corner-carving suspension and performance brakes.
“These key updates are about improving the Hyundai i30 N formula, without changing the fundamentals,” Hyundai Motor Company Australia Chief Executive Officer, Ted Lee said.
“While the i30 N has always been about maximising performance and fun, these improvements focus on delivering key safety and technology updates, adding to the well-rounded nature of this accessible and exciting performance vehicle.”
KEY SAFETY UPDATES
Rear Occupant Alert (ROA) – Logic Type
The 2025 i30 N will now include Rear Occupant Alert Logic Type System. This will detect if a rear door was opened or shut before the car was started and will remind the driver to check the seats upon exiting the vehicle.
Intelligent Speed Limit Assist (ISLA)
The i30 N will feature Intelligent Speed Limit Assist (ISLA) which allows the vehicle to provide audio and visual cues to appear when the speed limit is exceeded.
EXTERIOR
The 2025 Hyundai i30 N will sport a refreshed exterior look, incorporating several new design elements. These updates include a redesigned front radiator grille with red-accented inserts in the intakes. The red detailing extends to the side skirts, adding a cohesive touch of colour. The 19-inch forged alloy wheels have also received a minor facelift and will be showcased in a matte grey colour scheme.
The 2025 i30 N will also showcase Hyundai’s flat-style badging on both the front and rear, with the ‘H’ and ‘i30’ emblem highlighted in matte black, enhancing the vehicles modern and sporty appearance.
INTERIOR
