Wolfsburg Edition returns to VW range with Tiguan Allspace

AFTER AN ABSENCE OF THREE years, a Wolfsburg Edition returns to Volkswagen showrooms and for the first time in Tiguan Allspace form.

Wolfsburg Editions have been Volkswagen customer favourites since the badge (now revised in appearance) made its Australian debut in 2015 on the Golf R.

For the Wolfsburg Edition’s first appearance since 2021 (when it took the forms of the Touareg 210TDI and the Touareg V8 TDI), the Volkswagen fan favourite comes decked out in a black pack that melds with any of the four available paint options, but especially the only optional choice, Oryx White Pearl. The standard hues are Deep Black Pearl Effect, Platinum Grey and Pyrite Silver Metallic.

These are set against 20-inch Suzuka alloys, black roof rails and wing mirror caps, 90 per cent light absorbing rear privacy glass, Sound and Vision package (Harman Kardon sound and Area Viewcamera), direct tyre pressure monitoring and, of course, the distinctive Wolfsburg tailgate badge.

The drivetrain is the customer favourite and familiar EA888 2.0-litre turbo petrol with 162kW/350Nm with seven-speed DSG transmission and 4MOTION all-wheel-drive.

Some 1000 Allspace Wolfsburg Editions will be made available for sale. Customer deliveries are expected from October.
