ONE OF OUR FAVOURITE little cars is the Suzuki Swift and judging by the sales figures, we’re not alone in our liking for it. Now, Suzuki Australia has confirmed the release of the Swift Series II for the Australian market.
The Swift Series II features new advanced safety technologies including blind spot monitoring, rear cross traffic alert and a digital speedometer.
Further technological enhancements include heated door mirrors. Rear speakers already in the GLX have been added to the GL Navigator variant. The engine configuration and colour options for the GL and GLX variants remain unchanged.
Exterior design changes include a new look front bumper, a new grille and new alloy wheel designs.
Suzuki Australia General Manager – Automobile, Mr. Michael Pachota said, “New advanced safety technologies and tweaks to an already great design will further enhance the driving experience of the Suzuki Swift that Australians know and love.”
The Swift Series II will be available for purchase in September with pricing to be confirmed closer to launch.
Meanwhile, the Suzuki Ignis Series II will now be available for purchase in June from $17,990, followed by the Swift Sport Series II mid-month from $26,990 (all prices plus on road costs – driveaway prices are from $18,990 for the Ignis and $29,990 for the Swift Sport).
Once we have tested and assessed the new Suzuki Swift Series II, seniordriveraus will bring you a comprehensive review, including everything the over-50 driver needs to know.
