Suzuki moves to 5-year warranty and capped price servicing

AFTER YEARS OF RESISTING longer warranties, more and more car companies are bowing to their inevitability; it’s a trend that won’t be reversed.

Suzuki Australia is the latest to announce the introduction of a five-year unlimited kilometre warranty and updated Capped Price Service program as of October 1, 2019.

To be honest, the brand has such a reputation for reliability and dependability, we wonder why it has taken so long.

A longer warranty and capped price servicing make Suzukis even more appealing

The introduction of the new programs means customers purchasing a new or demonstrator vehicle at a Suzuki dealership from October 1, 2019, will now be offered the new warranty and capped service program Australia-wide.

The new CPS program provides Suzuki customers the opportunity, subject to kilometres driven, to service their Suzuki vehicle every 12 months versus the previous six-monthly intervals in the program introduced in March 2013.

Suzuki’s five-year unlimited kilometre warranty and CPS program will remain fully transferable to subsequent owners, which certainly won’t hurt resale values.

Suzuki Australia will continue to support customers throughout the life cycle of their vehicle if purchased before October 1, 2019, as per the previous CPS program terms and conditions (in other words: the new warranty and capped price servicing is not retrospective).
