Launching initially with two Limited Edition diesel models, the ELX LE and Ultimate LE, the first allocation of cars is now making its way to SsangYong dealerships across the country.
Both Limited Edition models are powered by SsangYong’s 1.6 litre turbo diesel engine with outputs of 100kW and 324Nm and mated to an Aisin 6-speed automatic transmission to deliver fuel efficiency as low as 5.5L/100km for the front wheel drive ELX LE model.
Occupant and pedestrian safety has been top-of-mind throughout the development of the all-new Korando with features such as Autonomous Emergency Braking System (AEBS), Lane Departure Warning (LDW), Lane Keeping Assist (LKA), Front Collision Warning (FCW) and Reverse Camera standard across the range.
Comfort and convenience levels rival those of vehicles at a significantly higher price point with the Korando ELX LE featuring SsangYong’s new 10.25 inch Full Colour LCD Instrument Cluster, an 8 inch Smart Audio Touchscreen paired with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, auto on/off and levelling headlights, rain-sensing wipers and heated auto folding side mirrors.
Ultimate LE models add power adjustable heated and cooled front seats, heated leather steering wheel, Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS), LED headlights, power tailgate and dual-zone climate control.
