Škoda prices Octavia line-up from $41,490 driveaway

ŠKODA IS DELIVERING ADDITIONAL VALUE for customers who appreciate the space, drivability and technology of the upgraded Škoda Octavia line-up, headlined by the new Select opening with a $39,590 recommended retail price (RRP) – or from a national $41,490 drive away.

The Škoda Octavia Select becomes a signpost for medium-sized sedan and wagon value, offering an enormous 600 litre boot volume in the former and 640 litres in the latter.

Along with a standard seven-year, unlimited kilometre warranty, the Škoda focus on ownership continues with the Octavia Select sedan being available from $111 per week and the Octavia Select wagon from $119 per week – delivered by a low 6.99 percent per annum rate across a five-year term, 15,000km annual travel limit and guaranteed future value (GFV) through Škoda Choice.

New interior technology arrives as standard in the upgraded Octavia line-up, including a new 10-inch Virtual Cockpit and larger 13-inch Infotainment System with new easier-to-use software, satellite navigation, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, new wireless smartphone charging with active ventilation and fast 15W recharge capability, voice control and eight speakers.

The revised interior of the Octavia features a new Lodge design theme for the Select, including dashboard-mounted cloth trim inserts and complementing exterior design changes that include new 18-inch alloy wheels, revised LED headlights and tail-lights, plus new front and rear bumpers.

New safety technology joins the comprehensive standard equipment list, including (newly added) reversing autonomous emergency braking (AEB) with pedestrian detection, front AEB with pedestrian/cyclist detection, adaptive cruise control with stop and go function, semi-autonomous Travel Assist with traffic jam assistance, Lane Assist with adaptive lane guidance, Emergency Assist, Side Assist, Rear Traffic Alert, Exit Warning System, plus front and rear parking sensors.

Other standard features include LED tail-lights with dynamic indicators, dusk-sensing headlights, rain sensing wipers, auto dimming rear view mirror, keyless push-button start, electrically folding door mirrors with driver’s auto dimming mirror, customisable LED interior lighting and a leather-appointed steering wheel with paddle shifters.

‘Simply Clever’ features include a driver’s door umbrella and holder, a waste bin in the driver’s door, tablet holders mounted on the back of the front seats, and cargo divide and net systems.

Škoda Australia head of product and marketing Kieran Merrigan said the Octavia sedan and wagon line-up continues to be the pick for discerning family or touring car customers.

“As one of our most recognised and established nameplates, the Škoda Octavia sedan and wagon continue to go from strength to strength with more technology and greater value all combined with benchmark drivability and dynamics,” Mr Merrigan said.

“For new and loyal Škoda customers, the Octavia makes more sense than ever – seven-year warranty, a huge boot, clever features, great efficiency, turbocharged response, a beautifully finished interior, plus the space and dynamic advantages of a smartly packaged passenger car.”

The Octavia Select is powered by a smooth and efficient 1.4 litre turbocharged petrol engine delivering 110kW of power and 250Nm of torque, with an eight-speed automatic transmission delivering 0-100km/h in 8.7 seconds.

It will be joined by the 1.4-litre turbo SportLine and 2.0-litre turbo RS in Q1 2025.

Only one option is available – $770 Velvet Red Metallic paint. Candy White Solid, Moon White Metallic, Brilliant Silver Metallic, Graphite Grey Metallic, Black Magic Pearlescent and Race Blue Metallic are standard.
