I’ve just bought a new ute, a GWM Cannon X, and I would love to see a review after you have driven it. It would just be good to see the issues or annoyances that have been found by others. It’s always better to know ahead of time if there are going to be issues. I haven’t got my ute yet – due to arrive in Cairns tomorrow and then have to wait for tow bar, paint protection and tinting.
Do you know when you are likely to drive and do a review on one? I was really impressed when I test drove the mid-range model, certainly a step up from my V240.

Congratulations on your new ute – it’s always exciting collecting a new vehicle.
We’ve been hassling GVM for some time now to get into their vehicles for testing and appraisal, but so far without success (it’s a similar story with MG – the Chinese are a little gun-shy about leaving their products open to honest criticism).
We’ll be doing some research about what issues owners have been experiencing and get back to you.
