THE ALL-NEW SUBARU IMPREZA IS scheduled to hit showrooms in December, but orders are now being taken for the sleek new hatchback.
The new Subaru Impreza has been redesigned with a focus on creating a sportier and more versatile offering for drivers.
Priced from $31,490 (plus on road costs), the sixth generation Subaru Impreza is available in three hatchback variants: AWD 2.0L, AWD 2.0R and AWD 2.0S.

The all-new Subaru Impreza boasts a proven direct injection 2.0-litre Boxer engine, perfectly complemented by a Lineartronic transmission with an 8-speed paddle shift manual mode. This dynamic combination ensures a smooth and nimble driving experience with sublime handling characteristics thanks to Subaru Symmetrical All Wheel Drives renowned handling prowess.
An improved Subaru Global Platform (SGP) instils an even greater sense of confidence. The enhancement bolsters cabin strength and delivers a quieter, more comfortable ride, developing the overall driving experience.
The sixth generation Impreza continues Subaru’s relentless pursuit of manufacturing ultra-safe vehicles. All variants come equipped with the latest generation Subaru EyeSight Driver Assist System with an improved stereo camera and a new Wide-Angle Monocular Camera. These features combined offer the following enhanced functionalities to the all-new Subaru Impreza:
- Significantly wider field of view
- Speed sign recognition
- Lane Centring function
In addition, Impreza features the intuitive Driver Monitoring System – Driver Focus (DMS) providing another layer of safety, as well as convenience, to help further reduce the chance of accidents. Whilst the inclusion of nine SRS airbags helps ensure the vehicle is well-equipped to better protect occupants in the event of a collision.
Inside the new Subaru Impreza, a carefully redesigned cabin takes the driving experience to a whole new level with a host of updated entertainment features and added conveniences.
These new cabin features include an impressive 11.6-inch portrait-oriented infotainment touchscreen, allowing for intuitive control of various multimedia functions. Additionally, the sixth generation Subaru Impreza boasts wireless Qi smartphone charging, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity and both USB type A and USB type C ports.
All MY24 Subaru Impreza variants feature a smart key and push-start ignition, LED headlights with auto off (dusk-sensing) and power-folding door mirrors. Impreza AWD 2.0R and AWD 2.0S feature front cornering lamps and High Beam Assist (HBA).
