Each of the six themes comprising the G 63 Elements Edition offers an interpretation of the elements that the G-Class off-roader has been conquering since the first production model was launched 45 years ago. Several of the Elements models are available in exclusive MANUFAKTUR paint finishes, and are finished in a range of bespoke MANUFAKTUR upholstery colour schemes.
Among a desirable array of equipment packaged as standard are key features that are unique to the G 63 Elements Edition –two wheel types, including an eye-catching 22-inch AMG 5-spoke forged wheel in matt black finish; a striking MANUFAKTUR cherry wood luggage compartment floor; and a MANUFAKTUR Logo package, which projects a unique logo – ‘G – Stronger Than Time’ – onto the ground as front seat passengers step in or out of the vehicle, plus a ‘G’ logo embossed on the door knob that serves to remind occupants of the G-Class legend each time they open the door to their G 63 Elements Edition.
Extra visual punch and interior refinement
The Mercedes-AMG G 63 model has always projected an arresting visual presence, but standard features of the G 63 Elements Edition guarantee even greater impact, including the addition of AMG Night Package I and II black exterior trim sections, plus distinctive AMG carbon-fibre elements.
The already-sumptuous G 63 interior also gets a substantial glow-up in the Elements Edition. This is headlined by the Superior Line interior, which turns the G-Class interior into a luxurious lounge with features including perforated Nappa leather seats upholstered in a diamond design with AMG badges in the front seat backrests; Active Multicontour Seat Package Plus; a premium Burmester® surround sound system; sliding glass sunroof; Nappa leather interior trim elements including door panels and armrests; interior air ionisation; air vents and window switches in silver chrome; and roof liner and sun visors in black DINAMICA microfibre.
Other standard features include an AMG Performance steering wheel in carbon-fibre and DINAMICA microfibre, and a protective rubber mat is supplied for the load compartment. The Performance Package increases the top speed of the G 63 Elements Edition to 240 km/h and adds an impressive AMG carbon-fibre engine cover, showcasing the powerful 4.0-litre V8 biturbo engine to impressive effect.
Saluting the elements that forged the G-Class legend
Customers can choose from six distinct variants, each saluting one of the elements that the rugged G-Class has conquered over decades as one of the world’s most capable off-road production vehicles.
Each Elements Edition variant offers the 22-inch AMG 5-spoke forged wheel in matt black finish that are exclusive to this model, or a 22-inch AMG cross-spoke forged wheel.
WATER – Finished in MANUFAKTUR vintage blue non-metallic paintwork, plus MANUFAKTUR yacht blue and black leather or MANUFAKTUR black leather with contrasting top stitching in yacht blue.
DESERT – Finished in MANUFAKTUR Kalahari gold magno paintwork, plus MANUFAKTUR titanium grey pearl and black leather or MANUFAKTUR black leather with contrasting top stitching in gold.
GRAVEL – Finished in MANUFAKTUR classic grey non-metallic paintwork, plus MANUFAKTUR platinum white and black leather or MANUFAKTUR black leather with contrasting top stitching in white.
FOREST – Finished in MANUFAKTUR deep green non-metallic paintwork, plus MANUFAKTUR espresso brown and black leather or MANUFAKTUR black leather with contrasting top stitching in bronze.
