THE UPCOMING MASERATI GRECALE, the second SUV from the Italian brand, arrives in Australia in early in 2023, and will take driving dynamics, sophisticated luxury and customer personalisation to a whole new audience.
The Grecale Fuoriserie ‘Mission from Mars’ vehicle was recently showcased in Australia to launch the exclusive Fuoriserie customisation program, and soon customers will be able to order their own Grecale, choosing from GT, Modena or Trofeo models.
Maserati Australia & New Zealand notes the media speculation around pricing for the highly-anticipated all-new Grecale. For the record, pricing and specification is close to being finalised and due to be released in the coming weeks.
“The all-new Maserati Grecale will represent the start of a significant roll-out of new product,” says Grant Barling, General Manager Maserati Australia & New Zealand.
“The ‘Unique by Design’ ethos is found in every Grecale and guarantees a timeless aesthetic unique to the Trident marque. Whether it be Grecale GT, Modena or Trofeo, each will be highly specified as standard, with significant opportunities for Maserati customers to personalise and bespoke their vehicles to their own individual style.”
The Grecale range will kick off with the GT, its turbocharged 2.0-litre four-cylinder engine with 48v mild hybrid delivering 221kW and 450Nm. This is followed by the Modena which features an identical powertrain but delivering 242kW and 450Nm. Top of the range will be the Trofeo model featuring the Maserati-built Nettuno V6 engine (currently winning rave reviews in the MC20 super sportscar) and delivering a mighty 390kW and 620Nm.
“The imminent arrival of the all-new Maserati Grecale in Australia illustrates the growing depth of the brand’s offering to both existing and new customers alike,” concludes Barling.
“We envisage the Grecale quickly becoming a volume-leader for us here in Australia and New Zealand, and look forward to sharing more details when appropriate.”
As mentioned earlier on seniordriver, the 10-year warranty being offered to buyers in other markets will not be offered to Australian Grecale buyers.
