Mahindra shows intent with capped price servicing for PikUp

INDIAN CAR COMPANY MAHINDRA has been something of a niche player in the market but a clear indication that they are getting serious comes with their announcement that the next-generation PikUp will include a four-year capped price service program, complementing the existing five-year/100,000km limited warranty and five-year roadside assist program.

The CPS program began on the 1st September 2019 and is available to all vehicles eligible including the next generation Mahindra PikUp Diesel variants purchased between the 1st January 2018 and 31st of August 2019.  Customers who own previously purchased PikUp can automatically join the program from their next scheduled service provided that their previous service schedule has been maintained. Any Mahindra PikUp Diesel vehicle purchased from 1st September 2019 onwards is entitled to the program from their very first service.

Capped price servicing, but only for four years, not the full five years of the warranty

Mahindra offer the tough, no-nonsense light commercial PikUp range with nine variants. The original Mahindra PikUp launched in Australia in 2007 and built quite a reputation as a reliable, rugged and value-for-money ute for the Australian market. Over 500,000 PikUps and Scorpio SUVs have been sold globally since the launch of the original Scorpio in 2002.

The All New Mahindra PikUp boasts significant enhancements in its drivetrain and all-new six-speed gearbox, improved interiors that will appeal to a much wider customer profile and ISOFIX child restraints with top tether standard on all Dual Cab models. With Eaton Mechanical Locking Diff in the rear axle standard across the range, the Mahindra PikUp is available in Diesel 4×4 and 4×2 variants.

Bargain hunters will know that now is the best time to buy a Mahindra Single Cab PikUp with end of year plate sales available at local Mahindra dealers. All single cab Mahindra PikUps are now available with free base aluminium general purpose tray from just $23,990 in S6 4×2 and $26,990 S6 4×4. These prices are drive away, no more to pay.

We still think it looks odd, but seven seats and a $26,990 driveaway starting price are strong incentives

Mahindra also offer the best value seven-seat SUV in Australia, starting from just $26,990 in Petrol with a six-speed Aisin automatic. The range tops out with European spec features in the W10 variant with sunroof, sat nav, reverse camera, leather seats, tyre pressure sensors from just $31,990 drive away.  Featuring benchmark 2.5-tonne braked towing and 320Nm of torque, the Mahindra XUV500 has sold over 250,000 globally since launch in 2012.

Both vehicles now have 4 year 55,000km capped price service, five-year/100,000km limited warranty and 5-year roadside assist for peace of mind.  Mahindra is a Brisbane based business and are a 100 percent owned factory operation backed by the global Mahindra Group.
