Lexus recalls LX and NX vehicles to remedy display audio program error

DUE TO AN ERROR THAT may allow moving images to be depicted on the display screen while the vehicle is in motion, Lexus Australia has announced a safety recall campaign to reprogram the Display Audio on a range of Lexus LX and NX vehicles produced for the Australian market between 15 November 2021 and 16 March 2022.

For all involved vehicles, Lexus dealers will reprogram the Display Audio free of charge to vehicle owners.

Repair time is expected to take approximately 40 minutes. However, based on the Dealer’s work schedule, it may be necessary for the owner to make the vehicle available for a longer period, with alternative transport support available to owners, free of charge.

Lexus Australia will provide all owners of involved vehicles details of this safety recall campaign by SMS, email and mail to their last known address.
