HYUNDAI MOTOR COMPANY TODAY REVEALED (if that’s the right word!) teaser images of the sleek and spacious SEVEN, an all-electric SUV concept to be fully unveiled at AutoMobility LA later this month.
SEVEN captures Hyundai Motor’s future design and technology innovation in the electric mobility era and hints at a new SUV model coming to the IONIQ family, the company’s dedicated battery electric vehicle (EV) brand.
The teased images reveal a form following function design that dares to diverge from traditions of the internal combustion engine era. SEVEN’s lighting architecture is defined by Parametric Pixels, IONIQ’s unique design identity connecting analogue with digital emotions.
SEVEN’s interior (and that’s about all we’re being allowed to see) suggests a premium and personalised lounge ambience, deepening the space innovation that Hyundai Motor has shown with IONIQ 5. Furnishings trimmed in sustainable materials offer a refined, eco-friendly mobility experience that reflects the changing lifestyles of its customers.
Hi Paul, will there be a plug-in in the range. Either way I think you definitely need to test-drive this car! Cheers, Annie
Hi Annie. Not much has been announced about the SEVEN as yet, but since there are other PHEVs in the Ioniq range, there will probably be one for the SEVEN as well. However, from what you’ve told me, the SEVEN may be too large for your requirements. It will be around the same size as the current Hyundai Santa Fe, a seven-seater with three rows of seats. Watch this space for more information as it comes to hand.
