PEOPLE LOVE PIMPING UP their cars, and none more so than off-roaders, so they’re sure to welcome two new option packs for the Hyundai Santa Fe hybrid.
Offered as Genuine Accessories, XRT builds on the outdoor lifestyle focus of the new Santa Fe, with two packs on offer XRT Peak and XRT Adventure – each designed to elevate Santa Fe Hybrid’s off-road capabilities.
A collaborative effort between Hyundai Motor Company Australia (HMCA) and Hyundai America Technical Centre, Inc., the XRT Option Packs have undergone engineering development and testing, to ensure the outdoor-focused Santa Fe owner, to confidently tackle challenging terrain with ease.
An Australian team travelled to the Hyundai America Technical Centre (HATCI) in Irvine, California to test existing North American Santa Fe XRT components in varied on- and off-road conditions, including steep unsealed climbs and descents with rocks and sand, along with other test work including heavy duty towing, damper tuning and Motor Drive Power Steering (MDPS) assessment.
XRT suspension package combined with an Australian exclusive XRT exclusive 17-inch wheel and all-terrain tyre combination gives it a 30mm lift, resulting in greater approach and departure angles, with improved overall ground clearance.

XRT Packs is designed to enhance the standard Santa Fe Hybrid, which includes the XRT exclusive wheel and all-terrain tyre combination, specially tuned Mando dampers, in conjunction with XRT suspension knuckles and stabiliser bars.
The Scorpion All Terrain+ tyres were developed in conjunction with Pirelli and selected after exhaustive testing of multiple brands. This provided what the engineers believe is the optimum balance of excellent off-road capability and on-road grip and quietness.
For complete peace of mind, the XRT Option Packs are covered by Hyundai’s five-year/unlimited kilometre warranty when they are fitted by a Hyundai Dealership at new vehicle purchase.
