THE 2025 G80 RANGE IS AVAILABLE now, featuring sophisticated exterior and interior updates, and enhanced safety, comfort and convenience through the application of the latest driving and assistance systems.
The model line-up is simplified for the G80 with a choice of 2.5T and 3.5T AWD drivetrains and the previously optional Luxury Package is now standard across the range.
The restyled exterior reinforces an athletic and elegant image, while interior styling enhancements bring a seamless design that infuses every drive with luxury and convenience.
Among the exterior highlights are a refreshed G-Matrix Grille and bumpers, Micro Lens Array LED headlights with Dynamic Welcome Light function, and new 19- and 20-inch wheel designs.
G80 Sport provides a differentiated and dynamic image with unique styling and exclusive 20-inch alloy wheels that underline its performance capability.
The G80 cabin is headlined by a 27-inch-wide OLED Integrated Display incorporating multimedia/navigation and cluster information, and a new three-spoke steering wheel.
Further comfort and convenience additions include a Fingerprint Recognition module, a Heated Front Console Armrest with UV-C Sanitising Compartment, three-zone climate control, Active Road Noise Cancelling (A-RNC), and 18-speaker Bang & Olufsen Premium Sound.
G80 features Over the Air (OTA) software update capability and the latest generation of Genesis Connected Services (GCS), which lets users access an array of safety, security and convenience features from within the vehicle or using their smartphone.
New and updated safety and driver assistance technology in 2025 G80 includes Highway Driving Assist 2, Forward Collision Avoidance-Assist 2 with Car/Pedestrian/Cyclist detection, and Lane Following Assist 2 with Hands-on Detection.
Parking Collision-Avoidance Assist (Forward/Side/Reverse), Rear Occupant Alert (radar type), Remote Smart Parking Assist 2, Smart Cruise Control with Machine Learning, and Navigation-based Smart Cruise Control are also standard.

Model line-up overview
The 2025 G80 model line-up is simplified, with the formerly optional Luxury Package now standard across the range and a choice of 2.5T rear-wheel drive and 3.5T AWD drivetrains.
The 2.5T starts at $104,000 (plus on road costs) and the all-wheel drive 3.5T comes in at $121,000 (plus on road costs).
Options include matte paint for $2000, rear seat entertainment (3.5T variants only) $4500 and the Sport Package (also 3.5T variants only) for $6000.

2025 G80 continues the model’s elegant theme with a refined design headlined by a frontal treatment that creates a striking first impression.
A G-Matrix Grille featuring a unique geometric pattern forms the stunning centrepiece and is underlined by a new design front bumper that creates a dynamic low and wide impression.
An all-new Micro-Lens Array (MLA) Intelligent Front Lighting (IFS) LED signature delivers bright performance from a slim and refined design, further enhancing 2025 G80’s luxury appeal.
On unlocking the vehicle, the new lighting elements perform a pulsing, five-second welcome sequence as part of a Dynamic Welcome Light (DWL) function, giving 2025 G80 an expressive presence.
Completing the refreshed visage is a new Guilloche Emblem; the guilloche pattern is imprinted on a reduced flat surface to highlight the convergence of analogue sensibility and advanced technology.
2025 G80’s rear styling refresh extends to an updated lower bumper design designed to emphasise a wide and stable image. The bumper features sculpted sides that create a sporty and refined impression, hidden mufflers and V-shaped chrome trims that echo the shape of the Crest Grille.
In both a performance and a visual enhancement, 2025 G80’s front brakes are now standard with four-piston monobloc calipers in silver and featuring the Genesis word mark.
New 19- and 20-inch alloy wheel designs feature for 2025 G80 2.5T and 3.5T (excluding Sport variants) respectively.

2025 G80 is available in a broad range of exterior colours, including all-new shades and Sport-exclusive combinations.
New hues include Vatna Grey, Kawah Blue and Brooklyn Brown, with Cavendish Red exclusively for 2025 G80 Sport.

Rear Seat Entertainment System (ccRC)
A Rear Seat Entertainment system is offered as an option for 3.5T and Sport variants and brings a pair of 14.6-inch displays presenting a range of entertainment and convenience choices.
Each of the HD smart displays features independent viewing, and power and volume controls. A shared remote control allows independent control of each monitor.
When connected to a user’s device via mobile hotspot, the RSE system lets occupants watch services such as Netflix and YouTube. In addition, users can mirror their device by connecting via the USB-C or HDMI input on the right-side display.
The RSE system also supports Bluetooth to let users easily connect their headphones for a truly personal audiovisual experience.
As well as entertainment, the unit allows the adjustment of the rear climate control functions, to let each user select their ideal temperature, fan speed and airflow.
Dial Type Shift-by-Wire
The intuitive Genesis integrated controller in 2025 G80 is specially designed with an elegant transparent rotary dial featuring a sophisticated jewel finish.
Finger Recognition
A fingerprint recognition module lets the driver start and drive 2025 G80 without needing the key fob.

Safety
Lane Keep Assist 2 (LKA2)
Lane Keep Assist 2 provides steering assistance to help keep 2025 G80 centred in the lane, by using the windscreen-mounted camera to detect lane markings as well as vehicles ahead.
If one or both of the lane markings are unclear, the vehicle will create a virtual lane or follow the path of the vehicle ahead. LKA 2 operates from zero to200km/h.
Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist 2 (FCA2)
Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist 2 issues audible and visual warnings if the vehicle ahead suddenly slows, or if it detects the risk of collision with a vehicle, pedestrian or cyclist.
If the driver does not respond to warnings by taking evasive action, the system automatically assists by applying the brakes.
The FCA2 system operates across a range of driving situations, including Junction Turning, Junction Crossing, Lane Change Oncoming and Lane Change Side.
Highway Driving Assist 2 (HDA2)
2025 G80 further advances its safety suite with Highway Driving Assist 2, which augments the features of the Smart Cruise Control system.
When activated on a highway, HDA2 supports vehicle lane positioning and underpins safe lane changes during SCC driving.
Hands On Detection (HOD)
The Hands On Detection system can sense the driver’s grip on the steering wheel and will warn them to maintain control of the vehicle if it detects their hands have left the wheel.
Intelligent Speed Limit Assist (ISLA)
Intelligent Speed Limit Assist combines road sign recognition – using the windscreen-mounted camera – with navigation data, to inform the driver of the current speed limit.
If the recognised speed limit changes during Smart Cruise Control or Manual Speed Limit Assist operation, a corresponding increase or decrease speed message is displayed in the cluster – and on the HUD – prompting the driver to adjust the set speed using the +/- SCC steering wheel buttons, to stay within the speed limit.
Parking Collision-Avoidance Assist – Forward/Side/Reverse (PCA-F/S/R)
The Parking Collision-Avoidance Assist system helps prevent collisions by warning the driver if it detects the risk of collision while entering or exiting a parking space.
If the risk of collision increases after a warning is issued, the system will apply the brakes.
The PCA-F/S-R system automatically turns on the Forward/Side/Rear Parking Distance Warning.
Blind-Spot Collision-Avoidance Assist / Rear Cross-Traffic Collision-Avoidance Assist (BCA/RCCA)
The Rear Cross-Traffic Collision-Avoidance Assist and Blind-Spot Collision-Avoidance Assist systems warn the driver if there is a risk of collision with a vehicle approaching from the left or right while reversing or driving forward.
After warning the driver, if the risk increases the system will provide steering and braking input to help avoid a collision.
Parking Distance Warning – Forward/Side/Reverse (PDW-F/S/R)
The Parking Distance Warning system alerts the driver to the presence of pedestrians or objects around the vehicle to help prevent a collision during low-speed driving.
Remote Smart Parking Assist 2 (RSPA2)
Remote Smart Parking Assist 2 provides a remote parking and exit assistance feature from outside of the vehicle. The system recognises parking lines to complete perpendicular, parallel and diagonal parks and, by utilising camera image recognition, can recognise parking completion and activate avoidance manoeuvres if required.
Rear Occupant Alert (ROA) – Radar type
The Rear Occupant Alert system monitors the rear seats using an ultrasonic sensor to detect the movements of children.
ROA reminds drivers to check the rear seats when exiting the vehicle and, if the system detects movement in the rear seats after the driver has left the vehicle it will sound the horn and flash the lights.

Exclusive to 3.5T variants, Road Preview ECS technology detects speed humps and potholes ahead using the front camera and then optimally controls the damping force of the 2025 G80’s continually variable Electronic Control Suspension (ECS) to optimise ride comfort.
