The 2025 GV70 is offered in three grades – ADVANCED, SIGNATURE and SIGNATURE SPORT – with a choice of 2.5T and 3.5T powertrains, the latter for SIGNATURE and above.
Headlining an opulent cabin experience is a high-resolution 27-inch OLED display, along with a Head-up Display, a touch-type climate control panel, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto and Over-the-Air update capability.
The new GV70 brings a range of new and upgraded safety and driver assistance technologies, including an Intelligent Speed Limit Assist system that now features a convenient steering wheel shortcut button.
To the ample standard specification, GV70 SIGNATURE grade adds Bang & Olufsen audio, an Air Aroma diffuser and a UV-C sterilisation compartment.
Standouts in a refreshed styling treatment include Micro Lens Array headlights and new 19- and 21-inch wheel designs, with a series of exclusive Sport styling and interior elements reserved for the flagship GV70 SIGNATURE SPORT.
A plethora of chassis, suspension and NVH refinements treat 2025 GV70’s occupants to an even more serene driving experience.

MODEL LINE-UP OVERVIEW
The 2025 GV70 gives customers the choice of three variants, two powertrains, and a broad range of exterior finishes and interior trim choices.
Customers can select from the potent 2.5T AWD or the formidable 3.5T AWD powertrains, with a large range of exterior colours and upholstery choices offered across the variants.
ADVANCED
Headlining in GV70 is a 27-inch OLED integrated multimedia cluster and navigation display. There’s also a Head-Up Display, a touch-type climate control panel, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, Over-the-Air update capability and an In Cabin Camera.
The safety suite is upgraded with Highway Driving Assist 2, Forward Collision-avoidance Assist 2, Lane Following Assist 2 and Navigation-based Smart Cruise Control. Augmented Reality Navigation, Remote Smart Parking Assist 2 and front/side/reverse Parking Collision-avoidance Assist are also standard.
Externally, 2025 GV70 is updated with new 19-inch alloy wheels, Micro Lens Array LED headlights with Dynamic Welcome function and keyless entry for all doors.
SIGNATURE
GV70 SIGNATURE is upgraded with Bang & Olufsen audio, an Air Aroma diffuser, a UV-C Sterilisation compartment, 21-inch alloy wheels and more.
Compared with the range-opener, it brings additional luxury in the form of Nappa leather, Ergo-motion front seats, and a heated steering wheel and second row.
SIGNATURE grade also brings the 3.5T powertrain option, which ushers in Road Preview Electronic Control Suspension, an e-LSD, and suspension Drive Modes.
SIGNATURE SPORT
The flagship 2025 GV70 SIGNATURE SPORT introduces athletic styling elements including a double-mesh grille with dark chrome garnish, an exclusive front bumper featuring larger air intakes, dark metallic 21-inch alloy wheels, Sport exclusive seats and a flat-bottom steering wheel, in a perfect merging of luxury and athleticism.

The 2025 GV70 brings a series of chassis and suspension revisions that combine to substantially upgrade the model’s dynamics, ride and refinement.
“2025 GV70’s overall ride and handling package and NVH strategy have been enhanced to further elevate the level of luxury,” said Genesis Product Planning & Development Specialist Tim Rodgers.
“The tuning revisions extend to revised springs, dampers and anti-roll bars, increased chassis rigidity, new sound deadening strategies, materials and application techniques, and upgraded steering logic.”
“Improved powertrain isolation and sound deadening makes 2025 GV70 noticeably quieter and more refined than its predecessor,” he said.
“No single change is responsible on its own, yet the combination of all the many changes dramatically enhances 2025 GV70’s overall refinement on the road.”
Noise, Vibration and Harshness (NVH)
GV70’s NVH-reducing measures include:
Genesis Active Noise Control-Road (ANC-R): Generates anti-phase sound waves through the cabin speakers to cancel road noise.
Steering wheel: A more rigid steering wheel featuring a dynamic damper increased in mass by more than 50 percent is applied to absorb road vibrations.
Acoustic glass: Double-laminated acoustic glass is applied to reduce wind noise. Triple-layered door weatherstrips further minimise noise intrusion.
Hydro suspension bushes: The rear suspension incorporates hydraulic bushings that effectively isolate the cabin and occupants from road vibrations.
Sound-absorbing wheels: Wheel design features a sound-absorbing hollow structure based on the Helmholtz principle (21-inch wheels).
Refined 8-speed transmission: The 8-speed automatic transmission is structurally enhanced and features a Centrifugal Pendulum Absorber (CPA) designed to counter torsional vibrations caused by the engine.
Reinforced body structure: A reinforced lateral body connection structure in the 2025 GV70 improves body rigidity to the benefit of collision performance, chassis dynamics and refinement.

Navigation-based Smart Cruise Control (NSCC)
Helps maintain a safe speed on the highway by automatically slowing the vehicle when approaching low-speed zones or curved sections and then returning to its pre-set speed after these sections.
Lane Following Assist 2 (LFA 2)
Helps keep 2025 GV70 centred in the lane by detecting lane markings using the windscreen-mounted camera and providing steering assistance. If the camera is unable to recognise a lane, the system will use the vehicle ahead as a reference to assist with steering for a period of time.
Forward Collision Avoidance-assist 2 (FCA2)
Warns the driver and can provide evasive steering and braking assistance if it detects a collision risk with a vehicle, pedestrian or bicycle.

Hands On Detection (HOD)
2025 GV70’s steering wheel features a system that can detect whether or not the driver is holding onto the wheel.
The function uses capacitive-based technology to sense the touch and grip of the driver’s hands around the steering wheel rim and, if it detects they have let go of the wheel, will warn them regain their grip.
Highway Driving Assist 2 (HDA2)
2025 GV70 further advances its safety suite with Highway Driving Assist 2 which brings enhancements to the Smart Cruise Control suite of functionalities.
