The BMW X3 and X4 M40i Frozen Edition feature a striking BMW Individual Frozen Deep Grey metallic paint finish and a range of unique specification elements.
Just 37 examples of the models (17 of the X3 M40i Frozen Edition and 20 of the X4 M40i Frozen Edition) will arrive in Australia and available to reserve online from March 18, 2022.
The process of placing an order involves visiting https://shop.bmw.com.au and logging in with either a BMW ID account or as a guest. You then select your vehicle and preferred BMW dealer followed by payment of a $2500 reservation fee. Once the vehicle allocation has been secured, the preferred BMW dealer liaises with you through the entire process and arranges delivery and handover.
Exclusive style and features for Frozen Editions
Both the BMW X3 M40i Frozen Edition and X4 M40i Frozen Edition are finished exclusively in BMW Individual Frozen Deep Grey metallic to provide a bold, sporty presence.
Other style and equipment highlights, which represent additions over the standard X3 and X4 M40i models, include:
- M Shadow Line kidney grille in high-gloss black
- Mirror caps in carbon fibre
- Rear boot lid spoiler in carbon fibre (X4 M40i Frozen Edition only)
- M Sport brakes in high-gloss red
- Sun protection glazing
- Leather Vernasca upholstery in black with red stitching (available for the first time on X3)
- Sensatec instrument panel featuring contrast stitching in red (available for the first time on X3)
- M seat belts featuring BMW M tri-colour stitching
- M interior trim in carbon fibre
The additional features of the limited-edition offerings complement the exemplary driving dynamics and performance of the new X3 and X4 M40i models.
Both are powered by the celebrated BMW TwinPower in-line six-cylinder engine that develops 285kW and 500Nm and which helps propel both models from 0-100km/h in 4.8-seconds while consuming just 8.9-litres of fuel per 100km on the combined cycle.
