Nissan Pathfinder gets N-Trek special edition

NISSAN KNOWS A GOOD THING when it sees one, and the N-Trek limited edition models are bringing customers through the doors, so the company has added a Pathfinder N-Trek Special Edition to the list. It goes on sale in Australia in February.

The seven-seat Pathfinder N-Trek Special Edition is powered by the 202kW, 340Nm 3.5-litre V6 engine.

The Nissan Pathfinder is equipped with a host of Nissan’s advanced Intelligent Mobility features as standard, including Intelligent Emergency Braking with Forward Collision Warning, Blind Spot Monitoring, Rear Cross Traffic Alert and Intelligent Cruise Control. Earlier in 2019, Rear Door Alert, which notifies parents if children are left unattended in the vehicle was added to the Ti variant.

The N-Trek pack adds some extra goodies

With its eye-catching black styling accents, a unique 18-inch alloy wheel design and wider tyres, the Pathfinder N-Trek Special Edition will appeal to traditional 4WD-loving customers who seek a higher degree of individuality and expression.

There are four variants of the Pathfinder N-Trek Special Edition available; 2WD versions of the ST+ and ST-L models, and 4WD versions of the ST+ and ST-L models.

Exterior feature upgrades include a Black V-motion front grille, with black finisher strip and silver lower bumper guard. At the rear there are black badges, black license plate trim and black lower bumper finisher.

Along the side of the vehicle there are black fender flares, black exterior door handles, black roof rails, and black door mirror caps.

The unique black and silver design of 18-inch alloy wheels are shod with wider 255mm tyres, an increase of 20mm.

The interior follows Nissan design precepts

The Pathfinder N-Trek Special Edition is available in four colours:  Ivory Pearl, Diamond Black, Gun Metallic and Caspian Blue.

“The new Nissan Pathfinder N-Trek Special Edition is designed to appeal to active outdoor lifestyle families who appreciate the standout features included in the N-Trek specification,” says Stephen Lester, managing director of Nissan Australia.

“Pathfinder offers an abundance of interior space, a compelling suite of Intelligent Mobility features designed to keep occupants safe, and a highly dynamic powertrain package that makes it a top choice for growing families with an active lifestyle.

“As with the N-TREK Special Editions we have already launched across the Nissan SUV family, the Pathfinder N-Trek will quickly become sought-after in the Australian market.”
