MAZDA’S CX-30 sits between the CX-3 and CX-5 and its release is scheduled for next year.
The second of Mazda’s new generation vehicles, all-new Mazda CX-30 pairs practical dimensions with high-tech features.
Mazda Australia Managing Director, Vinesh Bhindi, said the arrival of the new SUV will meet growing demand for high-riding vehicles in one of the most popular segments.

Offered in Pure, Evolve, Touring and Astina model grades, the new Mazda CX-30 is equipped with a choice of highly efficient Skyactiv-G 2.0L or Skyactiv-G 2.5L petrol engines, available with a 6 speed Skyactiv-Drive automatic transmission.
Using the ever-evolving Kodo design language (which you either love or hate), the Mazda CX-30 aims at a ‘sleek and bold’ aesthetic, eschewing character lines to achieve a form with the flowing beauty of a coupe and the solid toughness and road presence of an SUV.
Customers will have a choice of eight exterior colours, including Polymetal Grey Metallic, Soul Red Crystal Metallic, Machine Grey Metallic, Sonic Silver Metallic, Snowflake White Pearl Mica, Titanium Flash Mica, Deep Crystal Blue Mica and Jet Black Mica.
Premium styling is carried through to the cabin, where clean lines and luxurious finishes continue Mazda’s reputation for interiors a class above their price point. High spec Touring and Astina models are offered with a Rich Brown colour scheme, paired with either Black leather or Pure White leather trim, while Pure and Evolve are offered with a Navy Blue and Black cloth combination.
The intuitive 8.8-inch Mazda Connect infotainment system integrates satellite navigation as standard, plus phone-mirroring technologies Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
A comprehensive list of passive and active safety kit is included. Standard technologies include Blind Spot Monitoring (BSM), Smart Brake Support (SBS), Traffic Sign Recognition (TSR) and Mazda Radar Cruise Control (MRCC) with Stop & Go.
Astina grade features Vision Technology as standard, which includes a series of Mazda’s most advanced driver support and safety technologies, including a 360-degree View Monitor, Cruising and Traffic Support (CTS), Front Cross Traffic Alert (FCTA) and Driver Monitoring.
Sharing DNA with Mazda3, the Mazda CX-30 adopts the same Skyactiv-Vehicle Architecture and human-centric design principles to enhance the sense of Jinba-ittai between driver and car. The driver-oriented cockpit minimises distraction, while the seat structure is optimised to maintain the natural S-curve of the spine for the ideal seating posture, and the application of vehicle dynamics technologies, like G-Vectoring Control Plus (GVC Plus), ensures consistent and smooth vehicle behaviour.
Mazda CX-30 is the fifth SUV to join the Mazda Australia range, and comes standard with Mazda’s five-year unlimited kilometre warranty and five-year Mazda Premium Roadside Assistance.
The Mazda CX-30 will go on sale in early 2020 starting at $29,990 (plus on road costs) for the G20 Pure variant.
