DESPITE (OR PERHAPS, BECAUSE OF) disappointing sales, Alfa Romeo Australia has announced the launch of the Tributo Italiano Special Series. This stunning new lineup celebrates the brand’s rich Italian heritage, excellence, and sportiness. Available across the Alfa Romeo Tonale, Stelvio, and Guilia models, the Tributo Italiano series is set to captivate enthusiasts with its exceptional design and performance.
These models are designed to stand out, featuring a range of luxurious elements highlighting the brand’s Italian origins and sport-inspired ethos:
Each model in the Tributo Italiano series is available in the three iconic colours of the Italian flag (Montreal Green, Alfa White, and Alfa Red). Key exterior enhancements include a two-tone livery with a black roof, Italian flag mirror caps, sunroof on all models, and a distinctive body-colour body kit on Tonale and Stelvio. The series also boasts alloy wheels – 21-inch on the Stelvio, 19-inch on the Giulia, and 20-inch on the Tonale – complemented by sporty red Brembo brake calipers.
Inside, the Tributo Italiano models feature new black leather-accented sports seats with red perforations, embroidered front headrests, and red stitching on the dashboard, seats, and door panels. These details enhance the interior’s luxury and sportiness.
The Tributo Italiano series includes advanced technical features such as active suspension, a “Dual-Stage Valve” system on the Tonale and “Synaptic Dynamic Control” on the Stelvio and Giulia. These systems adapt to driving conditions, offering a blend of performance and comfort that upholds Alfa Romeo’s commitment to driving excellence.
The Alfa Romeo Tonale Tributo Italiano model is available as a plug-in hybrid, with both the Alfa Romeo Stelvio and Giulia Tributo Italiano editions powered by the turbocharged 2.0-litre turbo four-cylinder with 206kW. The Tributo Italiano model is an extremely limited series, with only 20 Tonale, 26 Giulia, and 14 Stelvio units being sold.
The three Tributo Italiano models will arrive in the first half of this year, with pricing starting from $67,400 (plus on road costs).
