New Nissan Qashqai to launch in four trim levels

THE NEW NISSAN QASHQAI IS READY for launch, with four generously equipped trim levels delivering even more of what Australian families love about Nissan’s stylish and spacious small SUV.

The new Nissan Qashqai delivers more power, more technology, more driving excitement, all while delivering even greater fuel efficiency.

“The new Nissan Qashqai is a small SUV that’s big on what matters, and I can’t wait for Australians to climb behind the wheel,” says Adam Paterson, Managing Director Nissan Australia.

The styling is less quirky and that may widen its appeal

The foundation for Nissan’s small SUV is safety, and the Qashqai delivers with a new centre far-side airbag for occupant-to-occupant protection contributing to its full five-star Euro NCAP safety rating. Nissan’s ProPILOT with Lane Keep Assist allows for semi-autonomous driving from the ST-L model and above.

Driving excitement also arrives as standard across the range, with power from the Qashqai’s 1.3-litre turbocharged engine increased by 4kW, with torque boosted by 50Nm, lifting overall outputs to 110kW and 250Nm.

The interior looks luxurious (but depends on trim level)

Range-wide multi-link rear suspension and a newly developed X-Tronic auto transmission deliver comfort and poise no matter the road surface.

Impressively, the increases in power and torque are joined by a reduction in fuel consumption, with the new Qashqai returning a combined 6.1L/100km, an 11 percent improvement on the existing model.

Technology has been upgraded

The all-new Qashqai also welcomes a raft of technology updates.  Depending on the grade, the all-new Qashqai is available with a new 12.3-inch high-definition infotainment system, DAB digital radio, Wireless Apple CarPlay and wireless phone charging.

Four model grades are offered with the new Qashqai, all with added features, and in addition to the bold new Magnetic Blue colour.  From ST+ onwards customers can choose from five eye-catching, two-tone paint schemes including Fuji Sunset Red and Ceramic Grey, both matched to a Pearl Black roof.

The new Nissan Qashqai will be available late in 2022.
