NISSAN’S MOST ADVANCED SUV TO DATE, the all-new Nissan X-Trail, is preparing for launch, with the family focused SUV to arrive with an all-new platform, advanced safety equipment and improved levels of all-road capability courtesy of a 4×4 system that offers up to five distinct drive modes.
The new X-Trail has been tailor-made for every adventure, on-road and off. Taller and wider than before, the new generation X-Trail’s styling adopts the Nissan V-Motion grille and a stylish “floating” roofline, with a raft of exterior design refinements to smooth aerodynamics and further reduce wind noise.

The new-generation X-Trail will be offered in four model grades:
ST
A generously equipped model that delivers LED lighting front and rear, roof rails, shift-by-wire, high-beam assist, a rear parking camera and sensors and more. An 8.0-inch infotainment screen is Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatible, while 17-inch alloy wheels and a comprehensive suite of active safety that includes, AEB with pedestrian and cyclist detection, rear AEB with pedestrian detection and cross-traffic alert, traffic-sign recognition and Intelligent Cruise Control complete a value-packed offering.
ST-L
Builds on the ST model’s equipment with the introduction of ProPILOT with Lane Keep Assist, privacy glass, fog lights, a digital Around-View monitor, heated front seats, dual-zone climate control, sliding rear seats, front parking sensors, synthetic leather trim, practical 40:20:40 split rear seats and 18-inch alloy wheels complete the ST-L offering.
Ti
A truly premium grade, the X-Trail Ti introduces genuine leather-accented seating, 19-inch alloy wheels, a panoramic sunroof, LED turn signals, a Smart Rear View Mirror, tri-zone climate control and power operated rear tailgate. The technology offering is significant, with a 12.3-inch, navigation-equipped touchscreen, a 10.8-inch Head-Up Display, wireless phone charging and wireless Apple CarPlay, and a 12.3-inch TFT digital driver display.
Ti-L
The flagship model in the X-Trail range, the Ti-L features a heated steering wheel, Bose 10-speaker sound system, full Nappa leather seating with memory seat function, rear sunshades, hands free rear tailgate, remote engine start and more.
Safety is standard
Safety takes a further step forward across all models with standard rear cross traffic alert and auto emergency braking with cyclist and pedestrian detection, intelligent emergency lane keeping, and blind-spot warning and intervention.
Multi-mode all-wheel drive
X-Trail’s new multi-mode all-wheel-drive system has driver-selectable Eco, Standard and Sport modes linked to five bespoke traction modes and algorithms to suit conditions such as bitumen, dirt, ice and snow, with Hill Descent Control for carefully modulated downhill off-road driving on 4WD models.
The new X-Trail adopts the latest CMF-C engineering platform. Towing capacity has increased by 500kg to 2 tonnes, while revisions to the 2.5 litre engine have delivered a 9kW lift in power, and a 19Nm increase in torque, to 135kW and 245Nm.
Pick your luggage configuration
The new X-Trail features one of the most innovative luggage-storage systems in its class, with dual luggage boards allowing for 16 different boot configurations, allowing storage of long items, secure storage of bags or fragile packages, and for hidden storage of valuable items.
X-Trail’s versatile twin-board modular rear cargo space, with 16 different configurations, is unique to the medium SUV segment and is offered on ST-L models and above.
