THE NEW RENAULT ARKANA R.S. LINE variant has joined the range, boasting unique sports styling both inside and out adding a dynamic edge to the Arkana nameplate.

Sitting proudly at the top of the Arkana range, the R.S. Line adds a suite of sporty design elements to this premium SUV over and above the already well-specified Intens model, including 18-inch R.S. Line diamond-cut alloys, a specific front bumper design with an F1-inspired aero blade, R.S. Line badging, gun metal grey door trims and front and rear skid plates.
Inside, Renault’s racing heritage continues to be acknowledged with R.S. Line door sills, carbon-look interior trim, alloy sport pedals, a leather & perforated leather steering wheel with R.S. Line badging, red and grey contrast stitching, and R.S. badging.
Additional specification to distinguish the R.S Line over and above the Intens variant includes a fully digital 10.25-inch instrument cluster, a frameless auto-dimming rear-view mirror, and a sunroof. Options are metallic paint ($750) and contrasting black roof ($600).
Powering the R.S. Line is the proven 1.3-litre petrol TCe petrol engine, delivering 115kW at 5,500rpm and 262Nm at 2250rpm. Euro 6 compliant, fuel consumption is just 6.0 litres per 100km on the combined cycle.
A full suite of the latest passive and active safety measures – including Active Emergency Braking with vehicle, cyclist and pedestrian detection, adaptive cruise control with stop and go function, and rear cross-traffic alert – have ensured the Arkana is ANCAP 5-star safety rated.
Renault’s unique 5-Year Easy Life Ownership programme sees 5-years unlimited kilometre warranty, 5-years Roadside Assistance and 5-years capped price servicing – the latter costing just $2385 over the period to service.
